Are you saying ANY of this to yourself?
👉🏻 “If I raise my prices, I’ll lose clients.”
👉🏻 “I’m freaking out- I have a slow week.”
👉🏻 “I can’t find anyone good to work for/rent a chair from me.”
I hear things like this ALL the time from stylists BEFORE they join one of my programs.
This is the thing, friends…
Whatever you think, you’re RIGHT! So be careful & conscious of how to think about situations that look stressful but may not be. 🤔
You may lose a few clients if you raise your prices, but I bet it’s going to be a lot LESS than you think. Plus, if they do leave, bless and release them, and then you have room in your schedule to either upsell more services to your amazing clients who are happy to pay your higher prices OR you make room in your schedule for more who will! 🙌🏻
If you have a slow week, friend, that leaves PLENTY of time to create content for your social accounts, engage with ideal clients, work on attracting new ideal clients, reach out to current clients to get testimonials, or clean/organize your work space. ✔️
If you haven’t had a good experience in the past with employees who respect you, chair renters who pay on time or front desk staff who are professional, have you thought about coming up with a list of non-negotiables of WHO you want working in your salon? And then be SELECTIVE when hiring. Don’t settle. 🚫
