Yes-I recorded this in FedEx while I was waiting for the 16 page workbook to be printed out for 7 people😜✂️
(Every minute counts when you’re balancing your business and being a full time Mommy💛!)
Last week I hosted a 4 hour social media marketing class at a GORG salon called Grant & Dunne.
Here’s what we covered:
✅ how to “hook” a follower in with done for you customizable templates
✅ how to get your followers to engage with your social posts (engagement leads to conversations, conversations lead to sales)
✅ how to find your ideal clients online
✅ how to turn those followers into customers
I was honored, I was excited and I was a little nervous. I was nervous for 2 reasons:
1️⃣ As a recovering perfectionist (ahem-not really🤣) I want to OVER deliver and under promise. I want to WOW the pants off of the attendees. I want them to feel the class was worth DOUBLE the price!
I was prepared, I practiced in advance and I even had a live audience to try it out on the day before -my fiancé and our daughter😍
What I did as I was driving to class was this:
I envisioned exactly how I wanted it to go, I took several deep breaths before I walked in and I reminded myself that there’s so much to learn from this experience.
2️⃣ I’ve had the honor to coach hundreds of stylists online. BUT, I hadn’t actually hosted an in-person class yet. I know the content like the back of my hand, but it would be a bit different to engage with people face to face. I was SO here for it! 💃🏻
When I’m done teaching classes (whether that be online or in person), I want to get a pulse on how the attendees are absorbing the information and how they are feeling about what I just taught them. So I asked this group of stylists, on a scale of 1-10, give me a score.
10 means: you’re inspired, the steps seem doable, you have clear action steps, you’re excited about implementing the new strategies.
1 means: I already knew all of this information or I feel overwhelmed or the ideas aren’t “clicking” for me.
Good news-everyone said they were at a 10! Yay! 🎉
What’s next on the list of things that are possible for you?
Here’s to going all in,
Gina
