Can you believe this?!

Would you believe me if I told you that I regularly buy myself flowers to lift myself up? It’s true! The vibrant colors and fresh smell really puts a smile on my face, especially during the cold winter months that seem to draaaaag on. What do you do to brighten your (or someone else’s) day?

I thought this would be a good time to talk about how we can put a positive spin on what is happening in the world right now.

My honey and I are doing the best we can to stay calm, healthy and positive. Here’s a reminder of a few things that we all have control of right now:
-How much sleep we get. Sleep is so important to keep us healthy. I always shoot for 7-8 hours a night.
-Exercise and movement is so good for lifting you up, especially now.
-Yoga and meditation will help keep you calm and mindful of how you’re feeling.
-Healthy eating is a game changer! Try a few new recipes that you’ve been thinking about now that you’re homebound a bit more.
-Send kind messages and write uplifting posts on social media instead of negative thoughts.
-Laughter is SO good for you because it releases feel-good hormones and endorphins. Try watching a funny movie, that always helps me feel better.
-Give extra lovin’ to your pets and kiddos, maybe a bit more than usual.

Another great thing about being on shutdown:

You can catch up on your favorite Netflix show, watch a masterclass, watch a hair tutorial or take a new online course. You can also spend some time reading or writing.

Here’s a few books that I’m obsessed with lately…

Super Attractor by Gabby Bernstein
Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo
Free To Focus by Michael Hyatt
Girl Wash Your Face and Girl Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis
