I hope you had a fabulous St. Patty’s day weekend. For the first time ever, I got to see what all the hype was about with the traditional Irish meal made of corned beef and cabbage! My honey’s Mom invited us over on Saturday to have her homemade version, YUMMM!
These days I’m cooking 4-5 times a week, and now I really appreciate when someone else makes ME a meal! There’s a lot of energy that goes into cooking a delicious meal, and I’m now realizing that more than ever.
A few weeks ago I had a conversation with a long time client about her wearing a pony tail. We’ve been playing with her color, going from a more traditional highlight/lowlight combo to an ombre look. We’ve also started leaving her hair longer (which she hasn’t done in years) and added swingy layers and a long razor cut bang.
She’s been loving the new do’ and even got a compliment about it from both her daughter and her son.
When I asked her if she ever wears it up in a pony tail to go out she said “no, I’m not confident that I can pull that off.”
What?!?! Yes you can!
Your face and hair are beautiful and a ponytail is a timeless hairstyle. After styling her hair, I did a mini 1 minute how-to wear a ponytail run through. This is what I suggested:
1. Style your hair as if you are planning on wearing it down. For example, blowdry, curl, straighten, tease-all the things.
Then…
2. Gather hair and then put in a pony using the end or skinny part of the Glamhairus Wonder Comb to lift up the crown area for more fullness. Done!
