Time hacks: 9 things I never (and always) do to maximize my day

I have friends that ask me, “Gina, how do you get it all done?” 😜

I usually think to myself: “Where do I start explaining this one?!”

So here it goes- little tricks that may seem brilliant or possibly somewhat ridiculous. You tell me when you finish reading my tricks/hacks/nuttiness for “getting it all done.”

I am a full-time Mom and I work, typically, 30 hours a week.

I ALWAYS:

  • plan out my week ahead to the best of my ability (with room/pockets of time for spontaneity)
  • make sleep an obsessive priority
  • protect my energy by eating healthy, drinking loads of water, limiting myself to 1 cup of coffee a day, regular acupuncture, yoga and daily dance parties with Olivia
  • prioritize my priorities (sometimes on an hour-by-hour basis)
  • am flexible with change
  • ask for support, whether that’s from my fiancé, friends, family or my amazing OBM/VA (online business manager/virtual assistant), Trish!

I NEVER:

  • waste time scrolling on social media
  • beat myself up for not doing it “good” enough (which includes being a momma, I’m learning as I go and I’m trying my absolute best)
  • leave Olivia out – it’s easy and SO much fun incorporating her into everything I do (she loves helping me with the laundry, wiping things down, playing in the kitchen sink while I’m cooking, helping me put my makeup on, vacuuming the house and pretty much anything else that I do on a daily basis)

I try my best to take advantage of every minute of the day!

Lately I haven’t found time in my day to relax or watch one of my shows, so, while I’m having lunch and Olivia is napping I’ll sneak in some downtime and put on Real Housewives! 😍

Comment below and let me know what’s one thing you never do and what’s one thing you always do?

XO~ Gina
