What does my favorite morning beverage have to do with my business? ☕️
I’m glad you asked! 😜
Well, just as my hot cup of morning coffee needs a tablespoon of flavored cream -french vanilla pleaseee- in order for it to be the perfect drink, my creative thinking cap needs to be brewing at full capacity at specific times of day and specific days of the week!
Today I want to feature my client who’s name and picture isn’t appropriate to share.
Why?
Because she’s a litigation attorney, from LA, who’s got a super high profile client that she’s representing. 💁🏻♀️
She wanted to look her absolute best for the week and didn’t want to worry about her hair, so she hired me to style it every week. 💃🏻
I went to her hotel room early in the morning to blow out her hair every Monday and most Thursdays for almost three months! The good thing was, I was back home before Olivia got up for the morning so I could go right back into Mommy mode. 💜
Super fun and unusual gig for me- I’m always down for something new. 😍
You might be wondering how I attracted a client like this who definitely doesn’t know me and wasn’t a referral from any of my current clients.
Here’s how:
When I leave a hotel from styling a bridal party or special event, I head to the front desk, ask to speak with the hotel event coordinator and let them know who I’ve just styled (street credibility) and leave my contact information with them. I let them know my team and I specialize in on-site special event hair and makeup. 💄
When they have a guest/guests staying at the hotel that need to be taken care of, they know who to call! 💃🏻
I can’t tell you how many referrals I’ve gotten over the years by implementing this simple strategy into my business. 💞
So, friend, what’s your go-to drink that gets your thinking cap brewing at full capacity?
