I was thinking about something recently. It hit me while I was trying to take a picture of the beautiful Chicago skyline after dinner with my daughter.
I realized that there’s a lot of parallels when it comes to raising a toddler and running a business!
My sweet Olivia is 3 years old now, and she (much like other toddlers), never. Wants. To. Sit. Still. There’s just SO much to see, touch and explore in their little world. I totally get it and I don’t blame them!

Here’s how I see the two being very similar:
Things don’t go as expected or planned sometimes.
You need to be very patient.
You need to embrace change and be open minded and flexible.
Often, you need to remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can,
It’s so important to be in the moment so you enjoy the ride.
