Okay friend, let’s dive in with the best way to let your clients know about your new policies (price increase, schedule change, eliminating services, etc.).
Here’s the four steps:
- in their hair appointment reminder email
- when they’re sitting in your chair
- when you post on social
- put a sign up at your station
>>When another stylist asks me what’s the best way to inform their clients they are changing a policy, it’s not usually the HOW- it’s the WHY.
Why should I charge more money? Why can’t I stop working on Saturdays if I’d rather spend the time with my family? Why do I have to do X service if I don’t have a passion for it anymore?
It’s much simpler than you think, my friend!
You create the CLARITY on why you want to implement your new policy, set a DATE as to when it will be implemented and let your clients know. Don’t be afraid to lose them. They’re not going anywhere!
You own your own business, you deserve to be happy and compensated for your time, energy & talent.
