Is there something that stops you from really reaching for your wildest dreams?
Is it fear of judgment? Failure? Risk?
I, personally, felt all of those things over the last 4 1/2 years while trying to get pregnant. You see, my fiancé and I heard 48 NO’s… (every single month) until we finally heard a YES-you’re pregnant!!!!!
I still can’t believe it! My honey, Gregory Swan, and I are having a baby in May. I’ll share more of my journey eventually, but for now I want to address one thing with you.
My friend, I had old limiting beliefs like this running through my mind (before I spent a LOT of time and energy to change it):
“You’re too old to be pregnant. People will think you’re crazy.”
“You won’t be able to work AND be a Mom. You’ll have to choose.”
“You’re never going to sleep again. You can’t survive without one night of sleep much less 2 months with no sleep.”
I wasted a lot of time, subconsciously, telling myself those things for too long! But thanks to a serious “clean up” of how I talked to myself and a self-care routine that was my FIRST priority, I am now 14 weeks pregnant and feeling great!
Things that worked for me:
daily meditation (thanks Gabby Bernstein!)
yoga
8 hours of sleep every night
talking out my feelings with my therapist
retraining my “old limiting beliefs” to new, optimistic ones that made me feel good
looking for other women who are Moms that are wildly passionate about being an entrepreneur
leaning on close friends, family, my fiancé, my clients and LOADS of doggie cuddles
journaling
reading my daily mantras
So friend, what’s the key that pushes you to reach past those old limiting beliefs?
XO~Gina
P.S. Thank you for reading my story. I’d love to hear from you. Can you share something that you’re scared to put out there? I’d love to be a part of your journey too.
