I have a fun hair makeover story for you…
Let me start by sharing a few perks of my job:
1. Instant gratification~ happy clients right after their appointment.
2. Making a connection with people I meet for the first time or that I’ve known for a while or that I’ve known for a very long time.
3. Using my God-given creative skills to create on and with my clients.
Meet Nadia, she’s from Argentina! She moved to the States a year ago for her hubby. She was a referral from someone I knew and the minute I met her I LOVED her! We had an instant connection for our love of animals (Vinnie took to Nadia within 2 seconds of meeting her.)
I met and did her hair trial about a month before her wedding. After discussing options for her wedding hair, we came up with a style which was partially up and quite full (she unbelievably beautiful and thickkk hair.)
Being the perfectionist that I am, I really wanted her color and the condition of her hair to be on point for her big day. We agreed within the next few weeks she would come back so I could work on fixing her color and reshaping her haircut. Oohh the pressure was ON! I needed to nail this with one attempt because her wedding was just around the corner and there was no room for error!
She switched from over-the-counter to professional shampoo and conditioner (which she loves!) that I did not have on hand but was happy to ship out to her after her color appointment. That made a huge difference with the texture and the shine on her hair for the wedding day!
