If it’s a little beauty inspiration that I need, I usually find it on Instagram. At times, I’m looking for new or creative ways to do my makeup or hair or I’m looking for a unique way to wear an outfit. Sometimes I just have no idea what I want to wear to my next big event or for my upcoming What I Wore blog post. I usually check out other fashion bloggers that I follow and that does the trick! Sometimes I try to mimic an exact outfit, which is fun for me to challenge myself and think outside the box and creative in my closet. I think to myself, “I have that exact same dress, boots, jeans..!” The good thing is that I can inspire my clients to train themselves to be creative in their own closet this way as well. So it’s a win-win! Check out how HERE!
If I need some business mentorship motivation, definitely my go-to gal is Marie Forleo! She does this Q&A Tuesday’s that I have been LOVING for the last 4 years! Often, I share the video with friends, my mom, my team members, or my boyfriend! Other entrepreneurs write in and ask specific questions, and she answers them. Some of the questions I’ve already experienced and figured out and some I have not. Like this one she recently released: How Creatives Can Be Ambitious Without Stressing Out All The Time. This is an ongoing problem for me, so it’s nice to get a few simple solutions and insight from Marie. Fun fact: because I’m the type of person that likes to identify my weaknesses and work on improving them, I purchased an online copywriting course that Marie and her team wrote for entrepreneurs who need help with their writing skills. So if you noticed some changes in the last few months with my posts – that’s why! It’s called The Copy Cure if you want to check it out. Just an FYI, you do not have to be a business owner to get the benefits of following her.
Ok, this one may sound strange but… I’ve been watching the Hallmark channel A LOT for the last month or so (holiday season!!) and on their morning show, Home And Family, they have fabulous DIY’s. Recently they showed a super cute way on what to do with your Christmas decorations so you don’t have to toss them all out after the season is over. I love a good creative way to reuse things that you already have. Like: how to make your real Christmas tree branches into a jewelry stand or how to make a decorative glass vase with leftover pine cones and some old sweater sleeves. So pretty!
Hope this post inspires you a little bit and thanks for stopping by!
